360° Virtual Tours
Virtual tours provided by 3dtour.eu combine advantages of several already existing multimedia formats like HDR 360° panoramic images, standard images, texts, audio, videos etc. to provide a unique user experience: to feel that you visit a building virtually just as if you were there. In fact you can walk around or inside buildings, you decide how long and what you would like to see.
Gigapixel photography
Gigapixel panoramic images allow users to find out a lot about entire cities, resorts just by viewing one very large panoramic image. For example this 1.3 Gigapixel panorama shot in Hurghada June 2010 from the roof of Jewels Hotel Sahara. Snapshots made by gigapan.org users include gardens of multiple hotels, construction site of the new Hilton II, a mosque, a lighthouse and several diving ships. Since our gigapixel images are hosted on gigapan.org, they even don't consume valuable storage disk space of our clients.
Our Story
3dtour.eu was founded in 2008 in Budapest, Hungary in order to revolutionize virtual tour technology and to be able to produce large-scale, content-rich cultural historic projects with our self-developed software. Our older projects were developed in Flash but since 2020 we’re only using HTML5.
